(HARTFORD, CT) -- The Connecticut Department of Public Health invites members of the media to attend the launch of Protect Who Matters Most, a new, modern-day School House Rock-style public awareness video series designed to empower parents and caregivers to have informed conversations with their doctors about vaccinating their children. The event will be held at the Connecticut Science Center and will bring together Commissioner Juthani, state lawmakers, health non-profits, local health directors, and hospital leaders for an evening of advocacy, conversation, and community.

The video series features four animated videos, each with a unique song and theme, centered on one core message: ask questions, make informed decisions, and protect the people who matter most. The series reflects DPH's commitment to meeting families where they are and giving them the tools to make confident, science-backed choices about their children's health.

Members of the media will have the opportunity to speak with Commissioner Juthani, participating lawmakers, and community health leaders about the series, the state's broader vaccination efforts, and how Connecticut is working to keep families safe all ahead of back-to-school season.
