The Bridgeport City Council Announces New Ordinance to Regulate Parking of Tractor Trailers & Large Commercial Vehicles on Public Rights-of-Way

 

WHO:             City Council Members Maria Pereira & Eneida Martinez, alongside City Council President Jeanette Herron and fellow City Council Members; Mayor Joseph P. Ganim; Police Commission Members; Police Department Representatives; and community members

 

WHAT:           The City of Bridgeport announces an update to the Code of Ordinances Chapter 10.12, Stopping, Standing and Parking Generally, to establish new restrictions on the parking of tractor-trailers, commercial vehicles, utility and tow-dolly trailers, and pick-up trucks with make-shift walls on public rights-of-way.
