TOMORROW: COMPTROLLER SEAN SCANLON JOINS AARP, UNITED WAY TO HONOR NATIONAL FAMILY CAREGIVERS MONTH

 

(HARTFORD, CT)—Tomorrow at 10:30 a.m., Comptroller Sean Scanlon will join AARP Connecticut, United Way of Connecticut, Connecticut Paid Leave, and family caregivers for a press conference in support of National Family Caregivers Month.

 

Comptroller Scanlon recently hosted a discussion on challenges facing the “sandwich generation,” people who are caring for both their own children and their aging parents. Tomorrow’s events will continue that dialogue while also announcing new partnerships and supports for caregivers.
