BHcare Expands Partnership with Genoa Healthcare, Opening On-Site Pharmacy at North Branford Location
North Branford, CT - BHcare is proud to celebrate the expansion of its partnership with Genoa Healthcare®, LLC, with the grand opening and ribbon cutting of an on-site pharmacy located at BHcare’s North Branford location.
This milestone was marked by a ribbon-cutting celebration on November 6, 2025, featuring remarks from community leaders, a guided pharmacy tour and refreshments. The new Shoreline pharmacy, which officially opened on August 6, 2025, brings critical support to clients by providing seamless, integrated care under one roof.
Genoa Healthcare specializes in serving individuals living with mental illness, substance use disorder and other complex or chronic health conditions that align perfectly with BHcare’s mission to provide comprehensive, compassionate care that promotes healing and wellness.
Through this partnership, BHcare and Genoa Healthcare are enhancing access to essential pharmacy services for clients, staff and families across the region. Genoa Healthcare offers convenient, personalized services, including:
- Filling all medications on site, reducing the need for multiple pharmacy stops
- Assistance with insurance plans and questions, including Medicaid and Medicare
- Free medication delivery options
- Convenient pre-filled pill packaging to support medication adherence
- Prior authorization assistance
- Personalized services tailored to individual needs
- Easy prescription transfers from other pharmacies
BHcare and Genoa Healthcare first partnered to open an on-site pharmacy at BHcare’s Ansonia location in 2023. The success of that partnership paved the way for these new expansions, furthering BHcare’s commitment to delivering person-centered care that meets patients where they are.
