FLEET FEET HARTFORD MAKES SIGNIFICANT DONATION TO JAMAICAN RELIEF EFFORT

 

 

WEST HARTFORD – Fleet Feet has created a relief program to honor the memory of Dean Waul, the brother of a Fleet Feet employee who passed away when Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica.

 

Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, State Senator Derek Slap (D- West Hartford, Farmington, Burlington, Bloomfield), State Representative Bobby Gibson (D- Bloomfield, West Hartford), and officials from the Caribbean Trade Council will hold a press conference to honor Dean’s life, as well as celebrate the donation. Fleet Feet will donate shoes, socks and funds generated from a Jamaica Fund Run raffle.

 

The press conference will be held tonight at Fleet Feet’s Hartford location and will begin at 6 PM.
