TOMORROW: COMPTROLLER SEAN SCANLON WELCOMES ATTENDEES AT HEALTHCARE AFFORDABILITY SYMPOSIUM, TOURS SCSU HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES FACILITY
(HARTFORD, CT)—Tomorrow at 9:00 a.m., Comptroller Sean Scanlon will welcome attendees to the Office of Health Strategy’s Employer Symposium on Healthcare Affordability.
The event will bring together more than 100 small business owners and local and national experts on healthcare to discuss affordability challenges and opportunities for small businesses in Connecticut. The day will serve as a call-to-action to educate employers on healthcare issues while also encouraging their future involvement in the solution process.
Then at 10:00 a.m., Comptroller Scanlon will tour Southern Connecticut State University’s new Health and Human Services Building. The state-of-the-art facility offers students hands-on experience in the healthcare field, and Comptroller Scanlon will be meeting with students in the nursing program.
