Himes to Celebrate Opening of New Norwalk Community Center
Bridgeport, CT – Tomorrow, July 9th, at 10:15 AM, Congressman Jim Himes will join Norwalk Mayor Barbara Smyth, State Senator Bob Duff, and additional local officials at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Norwalk Community Center. Located in the heart of South Norwalk, the new community center will provide a range of services to SoNo residents, including meeting rooms, a commercial kitchen, a computer lab, a music recording studio, and more. The project was funded, in part, by a $2 million federal grant secured by Rep. Himes in Fiscal Year 2023.
