I HEART NEW HAVEN: MAYOR JUSTIN ELICKER AND SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS TO ENCOURAGE RESIDENTS TO “SHOP SMALL, SHOP LOCAL” FOR VALENTINE’S DAY

 

Event to feature Black-owned and locally owned small businesses – Mae Flower & Gift Shop and Dope N Delicious restaurant – and other small businesses in the Dixwell neighborhood.

 

NEW HAVEN, CT – Today, Friday, February 10^th at 10:30 a.m., Mayor Justin Elicker will join small business owners and city, civic, and elected officials in the Dixwell neighborhood to encourage New Haven residents to “shop small” and “shop local” this Valentine’s Day and to show their love for Elm City businesses. The press conference will take place in front of two small, local, Black-owned businesses, Mae Flower & Gift Shop and Dope N Delicious, located at 302 and 300 Dixwell Avenue, respectively.

 

Mae Flower & Gift Shop offers a wide variety of floral arrangements and gifts, and delivers to New Haven, West Haven, East Haven, Hamden, and Orange.

 

Dope N Delicious restaurant offers high-quality comfort food at affordable prices, including two special Valentine’s Day dining experiences: a dine-in three course meal and privately catered dinners to enjoy at home.
