WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) will deliver a speech on the floor of the U.S. Senate marking four years since the passage of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA), the most significant gun safety bill in the last 30 years. Murphy will highlight the historic decreases the country has seen in gun homicides, mass shootings and school shootings since the bill was passed in 2022.
