TODAY: COMPTROLLER SEAN SCANLON TOURS DAY KIMBALL HOSPITAL, VISITS BUSINESSES IN WINDHAM TO PROMOTE MYCTSAVINGS
(PUTNAM, CT)—TODAY at 9:45 a.m., Comptroller Scanlon will meet with hospital leadership and administrators for a tour Day Kimball Hospital.
Then, beginning at 11:30 a.m., Comptroller Scanlon, Windham Mayor Tom DeVivo, and local officials will embark on a business walk in downtown Windham to promote MyCTSavings.
Comptroller Scanlon will speak with current and prospective enrollees about the importance of saving for retirement and the benefits of the program.
In March, the Comptroller extended the MyCTSavings enrollment deadline to August 31 for businesses with five or more employees that do not already offer a retirement savings plan.
