Central’s new students to move in Aug. 27

New Britain, Conn. – First-year students at Central Connecticut State University will move into their new homes away from home on Sunday, Aug. 27, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Nearly 1,500 first-year students will live on campus this year, representing 19 U.S. states; Puerto Rico; and 13 countries. Approximately 91 percent of first-year students hail from Connecticut, and more than half of the incoming class are first-generation college students.
On move-in day, first-year students will move into nine residence halls. The best photo opportunities will be at Mid-Campus Residence Hall and James Hall. (Circled in green on the attached campus map.) Residence Life staff will be on-hand to answer questions and welcome CCSU’s newest residents.
Throughout the day, staff from several student services offices will be stationed in the Willard-DiLoreto Hall atrium to answer questions and provide information to students and their families.
Parking will be available in the Student Center parking lot. The GPS address 105 Ella Grasso Blvd.
