Endometriosis Biorepository Working Group Press Conference

State Representative Jillian Gilchrest, House Chair of the Human Services Committee (D-West Hartford), and the Endometriosis Biorepository Working Group will hold a press conference on Monday, March 2 at 10:00am in Room 1B of the Legislative Office Building.

Endometriosis impacts 1 in 10 individuals with a uterus; however, it remains a disease that is under-researched and often misdiagnosed.

These events seek to:

• Highlight March as Endometriosis Awareness Month

• Celebrate the success of the CT Endometriosis Data & Biorepository Program

• Announce the milestone achievement of the dissemination biorepository samples to our first therapeutic partner- Metri Bio

• Reinforce relationships with, and demonstrate gratitude to, policymakers who have previously supported/provided funding for the biorepository program while at the same time marshalling support of AA Establishing a Working Group Regarding Endometriosis
