Annual fundraiser benefiting affordable homes features $30,000 grand prize
(Trumbull, CT) - Connecticut Housing Partners (CHP) is inviting community members, business leaders, elected officials, and housing advocates to help unlock opportunity for Connecticut families during its 2nd Annual Key Campaign Dinner & Raffle on Tuesday, September 29, at Jacob's Pickles in Norwalk.
Building
on the success of last year's inaugural event, the evening raises critical funds to support CHP's mission of developing, preserving, and managing affordable housing for more than 1,200 Connecticut residents, including seniors, veterans, single-parent households,
and working families.
For more than three decades, CHP has worked to ensure that affordable homes serve as the foundation for opportunity. Safe, affordable housing gives children a place to learn, parents the stability to build careers, seniors the ability to age with dignity, and families the security to plan for the future.
"The moment someone receives the key to their new home is about so much more than opening a door," said Renée Dobos, CEO of Connecticut Housing Partners. "That key represents security, stability, independence, and hope. It's a fresh start and the opportunity to build a better future. That's why we call it the Key Campaign, because every ticket, sponsorship, and donation helps open the door for someone else."
Guests will enjoy an evening of exceptional food, an open bar, inspiring stories, and the chance to win the Key Campaign's $30,000 grand prize. With only 2,500 raffle tickets available, every $100 ticket helps create more opportunities for Connecticut families while giving participants the chance to take home the grand prize.
Businesses, community partners, and residents are invited to support the Key Campaign through sponsorships, ticket purchases, or tax-deductible donations. Every dollar raised helps CHP continue Making Home Happen by developing, preserving, and managing quality affordable homes across the state.
"Affordable housing is about more than providing a roof over someone's head," Dobos added. "It's about creating stronger communities where people have the opportunity to thrive. When we invest in housing, we invest in our workforce, support our seniors and veterans, strengthen families, and build a healthier Connecticut for everyone."
The 2nd Annual Key Campaign Dinner & Raffle will be held Tuesday, September 29, at Jacob's Pickles in Norwalk.
