The City of Bridgeport is proud to support and celebrate the 2026 Bridgeport Pride March & Festival, taking place on Saturday, June 20, 2026. This annual event brings together residents, families, businesses, and visitors from across the region to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and community.

Broad Street Steps (Broad Street & Elm Street)

 

The Pride March has become one of Bridgeport's most vibrant and meaningful traditions. Participants will gather at the Broad Street Steps before marching through Downtown Bridgeport in a colorful display of pride, unity, and support for the LGBTQ+ community.

Whether you're marching with friends, family, coworkers, or community organizations, everyone is encouraged to participate and show their support.

Following the march, the celebration continues at City Hall Park with an afternoon filled with:

• Food Trucks and Dining Options

• Family-Friendly Activities
• Arts, Culture, and Community Engagement

 

This free community event offers something for everyone and serves as an opportunity to celebrate the diversity that makes Bridgeport such a vibrant and welcoming city.

 

Parking Information

Free and paid parking options will be available throughout downtown. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and allow extra time for parking and travel due to road closures associated with the march.

 

We encourage all employees, their families, and friends to come out and enjoy a day of celebration, entertainment, and community pride.
