The University of Central Florida (UCF) Ecoinformatics laboratory is hiring a two-year quantitative ecology post-doc to lead research on the movement ecology of burrowing owls (Athene cunicularia) and statistical methods for UHF and VHF tracking data in the “continuous-time movement modeling” (ctmm) R package. The post-doctoral associate will work in collaboration with Dr. Christen H. Fleming (Assistant Professor, UCF) and Dr. Raoul Boughton (Lead Ecologist, The Mosaic Company). The post-doc position will have a starting salary of $60,000 plus benefits, with eligibility for $5,000 in professional development.
