Dear friends,

I am studying the biology of salamanders (habitat and space use) and have learnt to work with ctmm. Many steps work well with one individual; however, I am having trouble converting data with multiple individuals into a telemetry object. It seems to me that the individual ID information is not being retained. Could you please help me convert my "salamanders" data frame to a telemetry object? Please see my data below. The projection is “+proj=utm +zone=33 ellps=WGS84”.

I have looked at https://groups.google.com/g/ctmm-user/c/h8XueD1L4xQ, but I have not been able to apply it to my data.

Thank you in advance and all the best from Prague

Hi Roman,

Your long-lat columns don't appear to be long-lat but some projected coordinate system.

Best,
Chris
