Hi all,

I have run into an issue using rsf.fit with the Riemann integrator. I get an error saying “Inconsistent grids not yet supported when method!="MonteCarlo". When I look inside the function it seems that this error is given when the data are elliptical. However, when I used ctmm.guess I specified my model to be isotropic. What could be happening here?

Further details:

My movement model and raw data have the projection "+proj=utm +zone=33 +datum=WGS84 +units=m +no_defs“. The extents are different.

My list of rasters has the projection "+proj=longlat +datum=WGS84 +no_defs". They have a larger extent that the movement model and raw data.

Cheers,

Shane.

Hi Shane,

This error occurs if you have multiple raster covariates that aren't in the same projection and grid, or if the rasters need to be projected into meters for the pixels to have the same differential area across the study. I will update the error message to include this caveat.

Best,
Chris

Hi Chris,

Apologies for not replying earlier. Thank you for answering this. Really great package, by the way!
