Dear all,
We are excited to offer our online course, Analyzing Habitat Selection of Animals from Telemetry Data, scheduled for 20th to 23rd April 2026.
This course is ideal for researchers and graduate students with experience in animal movement analysis using R. Building on foundational knowledge, you will learn to fit and interpret Habitat Selection Functions (HSFs/RSFs) and Step Selection Functions (SSFs), explore model extensions, validation methods, and integrate behavioral states via Hidden Markov Models (HMMs).
Participants will engage in hands-on coding sessions using example datasets, with the opportunity to work on their own telemetry data.
Sessions run daily from 14:00 to 18:00 Berlin time.
