updating hg38 annotation

Hi,

is there a script to update/regenerate the hg38 annotation? I noticed that some gene names have been changed since the original annotation was prepared and I would like to fix this

Hi Erik,

We will definitely try.  For now, I suggest you use the gene ID to retrieve the updated gene symbol.  We actually prefer to use gene ID than gene symbol because they are more stable.
