Update from Hurricane Ike

Dear friends of Cranmer House,

 

We would normally be sending out a newsletter in the next few days, but as I'm sure you are aware, Hurricane Ike has interrupted services in Houston for the foreseeable future. Dean Crenshaw and his wife are fine and are even able to stay in their home, but they are without electricity. Some students have had to leave their homes until utilities are restored.

 

Your prayers are desired for everyone affected by the storm, for their continued safety and health as the Houston area recovers. Another practical matter is that the seminary schedule has been interrupted, since the first session of classes was supposed to take place last weekend. Please pray that classes can resume soon and that the students will be able to get back on track, especially those who are hoping to complete their courses this term.
