Hi CTCNet community,
Last week I came to understand how Google Hangouts on Air, a free service, can be a useful tool for
web interviews -- and the storytelling that can occur via such recorded conversations. Google Hangouts on Air
can be recorded to one's YouTube channel, creating a quasi Charlie Rose kind of interview.
for example, see
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3Cmdg36JDo&feature=plcp
and
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDYzl-hYSts&feature=plcp The attractive titles come from a free Google Hangouts app called Lower Thirds.
You can have up to 10 people talking in a single Google Hangout. My
next goal is to try to have some meaningful Google Hangouts with some
other educators here in the DC-area -- and elsewhere. If this is
something you'd like to participate in, thanks for sending me an email
telling me more about your interests in education, technology access and
related topics.
