Neighborhood technology access and community technology development practitioners from around the country are invited to the 2nd Chicago Digital Access Alliance (C.D.A.A.) Digital Excellence Conference And Tech Fair Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the 9th Floor Penthouse Conference Center at the University of Chicago Logan Center For The Arts, 915 East 60th Street, Chicago, Illinois 60637.
This year's conference features workshops and seminars on learning social media. creating digital literacy programs, creating, developing and funding your own CTC, building your own PC and teaching others how to refurbish and build PCs, connecting your programs to high-speed broadband access and much more. A highlight of this year's conference will be the keynote luncheon focused on neighborhood technology and community development, and the Digital Excellence Pioneer and CDAA Friends Awards. For out-of-town guests, two hotels are conveniently located minutes from the conference site: The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place at 23rd and Lake Shore Drive and The Ramada Inn at 4900 South Lake Shore Drive.
