CTC Club Elections - Term Jan 2018 to June 2018

Hello Toastmasters,

It is time to elect our next set of Club Officers @ Coimbatore Toastmasters Club!

Elections for the 7 club officers' positions will be held on 9th Dec 2017 before the regular club meeting. The exact time of the election shall be intimated well in advance. Request all members to make a note of the date and make yourself available.

This mail is to invite nominations for the following posts for the term Jan 1st 2018 - June 30th 2018.

 

·         President

·         Vice-President Education

·         Vice-President Membership

·         Vice-President Public Relations

·         Secretary

·         Treasurer

                               

·         Sergeant-At-Arms

Members interested in nominating themselves, can do so by writing back ONLY TO ME OR TO OUR Past President TM Joe (copied in this mail) on or before 7th Dec 2017 midnight (23:59:59).

The final slate of nominations will be published on 8th Dec 2017.

Following this, no nominations will be accepted. Members who are still interested in standing for elections are welcome to stand on the day of elections, provided their candidature is seconded by a member in good standing with the club.

Nominated members are free to withdraw nominations at any point of time by informing the Nomination Committee Chair. Members can nominate themselves for more than one post, but eventually take up only one Officer role. In case, there are more than one nomination for a given post, the nominated member will have to make a two-minute speech to the club, after which voting for that place will take place.

As per TI rules, please note that members who have served two terms continuously for the same officer role are not eligible to take up the role in the next term.
