Just a quick reminder of our next concert with a programme of early English keyboard concerti, offering a special glimpse into the origins of this new genre of the 18^th century. For this concert CTB’s usual period instrument setup will include a copy of an English spinet from the 1760s by Selway Robson.

 

On the programme will be concerti by GF Handel, William Hayes, John Stanley and James Hook, as well as a newly composed concerto, arranged from early English solo keyboard pieces into concerto format by Erik Dippenaar.
