A small flock of at least nine Cedar Waxwings is feeding in my Cheshire yard.  What a classy looking bird!  The tree is some sort of crabapple that produces prodigious amounts of small, hard fruit; usually still on the tree come spring.  I've always hoped it would attract birds, but this is the first time I'm seeing that.  A Robin has been harassing them without much effect.
