[CT Birds] Scoter & Brant migration 5/18

Scoter & Brant flight 5/18. During a late day coastal watch with Tom Murray at Short Beach, Stratford, we tallied 269 migrating White- winged Scoters (6 flocks) and a single migrating flock of maybe 500 Brant .

This just reminded me that I saw a flock of just over 200 Brant migrating
over West Haven on 5/12.
