[CT Birds] extralimital Common Gull in Westchester Co., NY

Just a heads up I found an adult Kamchatka Gull in the parking lot of Steamboat Dock Park, Verplanck, Westchester Co., NY.  It was there for about 10 minutes and then went to the ice on the beach whenever cars came in.  Evidentily others couldn't find it later in the afternoon or evening.  Some are saying it's the same one that's been in Stamford for several years.

Confirming Andrew's suspicion ...  a diligent search of all the Kamchatka Gull's usual hangouts in Stamford came up empty-handed yesterday.
