[CT Birds] West Hartford BARNACLE GOOSE

The BARNACLE GOOSE is showing well as of 11:30 this morning at Reservoir 6 in West Hartford. Those that tried for the Broad Brook bird (like me) might find their search here refreshing by comparison - there are only several hundred birds to look through at this location, compared to the thousands at Broad Brook.

Park in the north parking lot and take the trail on the east side of the reservoir to the peninsula on the left, about a quarter mile. Cute bird!

Thanks Jannie for posting this! Reservoir 6 will also be closed
tomorrow, but it will re-open Friday.

Let’s hope the goose sticks around Reservoir 6!
