If the oriole didn't overwinter, it's a very early date.

Hi Frank,

By the way, the two Baltimore Orioles that have been at my Norwalk backyard feeders (at great food expense, might I add) since January, are still here and doing very well.
I have been watching and photographing daily, the incredible molt that is going on with these birds.
It is just fascinating to follow these two birds each day, watching their habits, their ways, their lives and their changes.
I was awed that they spent this winter in our yard, and mystified how they made it through the coldest , most fridged nights 3-4 F, yet still are here and kicking up a storm.
Plumages are changing daily...
I will post photos and text when they either leave or complete the molt for this year, the later being the most likely to happen.

I caught a glimpse of a Pileated Woodpecker on Skymeadow Drive in North
Stamford on Tues April 11, close to the border of Bartlett Arboretum.
