The Suffield WMA yesterday: Second kestrel arrived - a breeding pair last season had 2-4 fledges that stayed together all summer until late into the fall.
The Suffield Osprey (nesting here) also was seen yesterday near there. Red Shouldered hawk and multiple turkey vultures.
Some In town reporting phoebes showing up.

Sara Z. reported this. Unfortunately this site is private property, and should not have been advertised. Also, disturbance of the roosting herons here by many birders and photographers could certainly cause the birds to abandon this protected roost site. Please refrain from visiting, and from too close an approach.
