[CT Birds] The Year of the Monarch

I, like so many others, have marveled at the butterfly show upon us. I picked a good year to create a new pollinator garden, so good I had trouble keeping leaves on several of my milkweed plants- I counted 13 monarch caterpillars on 1 butterfly weed.
For those who want to read a fun narrative, I attached a link from Bryan Pfeiffer who is a gifted writer, teacher, and accomplished naturalist/birder whom I see almost yearly on Monhegan Island.
