my building has put your bus tracker in our lobby from the beta diy
form... they would also like to add it to our cable tv lineup but when
they put it thru there it is blurry and unreadable...

they need some kind of part.. sorry i do not remember the name for it
to be more readable on the tv... also we have noticed that some of the
colors in the background of the bus tracker make certain stops
unreadable...

are there ways to fix this also we noticed that the weather on there
is out of wack with the real weather.. the tempature can go down 10
degrees but it does not update it self.. we made the adjustments that
we were advised to make but to no pervail...

can you help us ... we have over 500 residents and this service would
be wonderful if we could get everything working correctly...

please advise

Good evening.

We're glad to hear your building is using the beta Do-It-Yourself Transit Information Display (or, "the DIY Display", for short).

On outputting the information to television screens, note that the DIY Display is designed to be shown on computer screens at a minimum of 1024x768 pixel resolution, so standard definition television output (a mere 640x480).

Weather information is provided by the free, official readings for Midway by the National Weather Service and is updated frequently throughout the day as new data become available. If it appears that the information in the slides appears to be outdated, that may be a browser caching issue that the person who maintains the computer that's playing the slideshow may need to correct.

Please refer the person who maintains the screens to contact us with any questions--they can e-mail webm...@transitchicago.com for direct assistance.

Thanks!
