Friends,
I am retiring at the end of this month and am clearing out my office. I have found two boxes-- one of books (A Force More Powerful--10) and one of CDs (A Force More Powerful--10- and Bringing Down a Dictator-8), plus one copy of the computer simulation game of A Force More Powerful. I'd like to pass these on to those who could use them, rather than pay to ship them back to ICNC. Hardy Merriman brought them to us when he came to speak several years ago. Do you have colleagues who would benefit from having these resources? I've tried to give them to historians and political scientists--planting seeds of nonviolent social change in the hopes that they will do the same.
I'm hoping to teach nonviolent social change to adults in my retirement--in adult ed programs at colleges closer to me in MA. It would be fun to give a reading assignment and know it would be read and that other interesting ideas and resources would be brought back for discussion. I taught an honors course last fall entitled "Good News! Ordinary People Are Changing the World" and we used Yes magazine as one of our reading resources. It was fun.
I hope you are all well and continue to change the worlds.
Peace,
Sharon
