This position is located in Stamford at the World Headquarters of this international multi billion dollar company. The Business Recovery Manager is responsible for the continued development, maintenance and testing of the Disaster Recovery program and Plan as follows: Perform ongoing Risk analysis, review and testing of existing plan, coordinating business recovery program to include all required IT personnel and business groups functions that are vital to the restoral of the IT systems for the companies business, maintain and expand disaster recovery plan to insure that all business critical IT processes are documented and tested for prompt recovery, interface with change management to insure that all changes are incorporated into the plan and tested as required, coordinate all hardware, network and software requirements with backup facility, IT Team and vendors to insure we have the required contracted configurations in place, interface with various vendors to insure rapid recovery such as hardware drop ship, vital records retrieval, network connectivity, insure that the disaster recovery plan is kept up to date which includes all vital associate documentation such as names, inventories, recovery procedures, schedules, diagrams, priority lists and team assignments, check and follow up with various team leaders to insure that their procedures are complete and accurate. Report findings on a monthly basis, work with internal and external audit teams to verify and review the Business Recovery program. Additional: College (BA), operational knowledge and general technical with Disaster Recovery, 5-7 years experience.
