SA Radio Amateurs will have to re-apply for their licenses

South African regulator ICASA has been instructed to implement regulation 15 of the Radio Frequency Spectrum Regulations which stipulate that an amateur radio license can only be renewed for up to five years after which an new application has to be submitted

ZL9HR - They're on their way!

The team and all equipment left Bluff on the very southern most point of New Zealand's south island today en-route to Campbell Island. ZL9HR will be active on all bands from 160m to 6m as soon as the antennas are up and the equipment installed
