CT+6 Accepting Entries Through March 25th at Noon!

West Hartford, CT — West Hartford Art League is accepting entries for CT+6: A Regional Juried Exhibition. The entry deadline is March 25, 2026 at Noon. 

Artists submit their work by visiting westhartfordart.org/call-for-artists.

West Hartford Art League invites artists from Connecticut, New York, and across New England to submit work to CT+6: A Regional Juried Exhibition, a dynamic regional showcase celebrating art from the Northeast. The exhibition will be juried by Jeffrey Richmond-Moll, the George Putnam Curator of American Art at the Peabody Essex Museum. Richmond-Moll is widely recognized for his scholarship and curatorial work on American art, including co-curating the nationally touring exhibition Edmonia Lewis: Said in Stone. His exhibitions have explored subjects ranging from American modernism and magic realism to southern photography and Asian American art, and his writing has appeared in leading journals such as Winterthur Portfolio and the Archives of American Art Journal. Richmond-Moll holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in art history from the University of Delaware and a B.A. in art and archaeology from Princeton University.

Entry details: Submitted work must have been created within the last two calendar years and not previously exhibited in a West Hartford Art League juried exhibition. All work must be suitably framed and wired for hanging; wrapped canvases are acceptable. Framed dimensions may not exceed 48 inches on the longest side. Work on paper must be presented under glass or Plexiglas, and sculptures may not exceed 50 pounds.

The opening reception CT+6 will be held Sunday, April 19 from 2 to 4 pm at 37 Buena Vista Road, West Hartford. This reception is free to the public. 

The exhibit will be on view in both galleries from April 19 - May 31, 2026. Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday, 1 – 4 pm. 

The West Hartford Art League (WHAL) is a 92 year old art organization located in West Hartford, Connecticut. The West Hartford Art League is proud of its long history of offering affordable classes, free monthly exhibits, public art, and community events. WHAL’s galleries are open to the public and located at 37 Buena Vista Road, West Hartford, CT. Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday, 1 – 4 pm. Free parking is available on site.
