Act Up for Arts, Culture, and Tourism Advocacy Day!

Wednesday | May 7, 2025

Join us at the Capitol Building in Hartford for Arts, Culture, and Tourism Advocacy Day on May 7, 2025!

This is our chance to show legislators how vibrant and important our sector is to the state, and to meet your representatives. Be creative with what you bring! Dress in costume, bring instruments, the more creative and interactive the better! Remember you have to go through security to enter the building, so objects need to fit through the x-ray machine or metal detectors. So come in reenactor costume, but leave your weapons at home. A list of prohibited items can be found here!

Table registration is now closed, but we are encouraging individuals to come support the sector, especially in the morning when the press conference will be happening. Individuals do not need to register but we encourage you to send an email to your legislators letting them know you will be in the building and at the event.

Look up your legislator here!
