Avon Arts Association will hold a guest artist demonstration featuring Connecticut artist Zufar Bikbov on Tuesday, June 17th at Avon Town Hall, 60 W. Main St., lower level, at 6:30 pm. Mr. Bikbov is a nationally recognized oil painter and instructor, whose works are found in many private and corporate collections. The demo is free and open to the public ($5 suggested donation).
A workshop with Mr Bikbov will be held at the same location in the Avon Room on Saturday, June 21, 10 am-2pm with set up at 9:30 am. Fee: $45 for members, $55 for nonmembers. Avon Arts Association is a nonprofit 501c(3). organization of amateur and professional artists throughout northwest Connecticut. Aside from art demos and workshops, Avon Arts provides scholarships to students graduating from various high schools in the Farmington Valley intending to pursue studies in art.
