\Subject: FW: Exhibition talk on the late Elizabeth Gourlay Painter, March 8th 1-3pm.

Dear Friends,

The curator Daphne Anderson Deeds and I will be giving a slide show and presentation on my late wife Elizabeth Gourlay.

The talk will be at:

Dodds’ Hall Theater at the University of New Haven’s main West Haven campus

On Sunday March 8th 1-3pm.

Her show, Embrace: Elizabeth Gourlay runs until March 10th at the university’s Seton Gallery, adjacent to the theater.

Dodds’ Hall is in the Northeast corner of the campus. There is a campus map below.

It would be wonderful to see you at the talk, please bring remembrances and ideas about the way that her paintings speak to us. I will describe the work and professionalism of Elizabeth as exceptional colorist and will share some details of the short life of my deeply loved wife.

Please bring friends and reach out to old friends of Elizabeth who I don’t have contact information for. I look forward to seeing those of you who can make it on the 8th.

This is the richness in life.

Matthew
