Windsor, CT – Windsor Art Center opens a new exhibition on Saturday, November 15, 2025 with a free reception from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Running through January 3, 2026, Luminous: A Dialogue in Light and Color is a dynamic exhibition featuring the artwork of Connecticut-based artists Alexandra Wahl and Eddie Hall. Drawing from traditions of quilt making and glass painting respectively,  Ms. Wahl and Mr. Hall explore color and pattern, light and shadow in this juxtaposition of innovative artwork.

Windsor Art Center is honored to present artists Alexandra Wahl  and Eddie Hall:

Alexandra Wahl - Ms. Wahl began quilting when she was nine and sewing has always played a role in her life – her high school job was working in a quilt store, a sewing machine went with her to college, and stray threads of fabric cling to her wherever she goes. Professionally, Ms. Wahl has worked for many years in the collaborative art of theater production, while also pursuing her own artwork and often enjoying the cross-pollination of the two.

Eddie Hall - Mr. Hall is an abstract artist in Berlin, Connecticut. Creating works using vibrant colors and geometric patterns on recycled windows, his work draws inspiration from architectural and design themes. Mr. Hall is a self-taught artist, an active member of the Kehler Liddell Gallery and has been featured and won awards in solo and group shows throughout New England, including at the New Britain Museum of American Art, Mattatuck Museum, Hill-Stead Museum, Mystic Museum of Art, and Edward Hopper House & Museum, among others. He is a recipient of the Artist Respond grant from the Connecticut Office of the Arts and his work is in numerous private collections.

With special thanks to the Roberts Foundation for the Arts for sponsoring this exhibit.
