Thank you to all of the people who came in the last weekend of the movie theater.
It was exciting to see so many of you. We're now underway with preparations for construction!
We've got a couple of live events on tap. If you come for poetry with Riverwood or music with Instantiations, you'll see we're clearing out our lobby and galleries. We will have limited refreshments available. Please excuse the transitional space.

Peter Waite: Social Memory, Paintings 1987–2025
November 6, 2025 - March 15, 2026
AT THE WADSWORTH
| | |
Peter Waite, artist (and longtime friend of Real Art Ways), creates intellectually and emotionally charged paintings that explore human impact (notably with an absence of human figures) and evoke reflections on memory, social change, and time's passage.
This large solo exhibition marks a personal milestone and features a mix from the museum’s collection, private loans, and new works, celebrating Waite’s long history with this remarkable museum.
