HARTFORD, CT. – Real Art Ways will host a community meeting to share details and gather public input regarding the expansion and renovation of the facility at
56 Arbor Street. The expansion project is supported by the State of Connecticut, including funds from the Community Investment Fund 2030 (Round 3).
Planned expansion and improvements include:
● Four Cinema Screens: More movies, film festivals, and discussions
● A Dedicated Live Arts Space: More concerts, performances, and readings
● Five Galleries: New work from emerging and established artists
● A New Cafe: A gathering place for conversation and connection
● Flex Space: Educational and workshop spaces
● Infrastructure Repairs
Improvements will ensure the sustainability of Real Art Ways, increase service capacity, and provide a positive long-term impact on the neighborhood through new jobs and increased programming.
Community Input
In accordance with our commitment to the Community Engagement Process, Real Art Ways will host this public meeting to provide detailed information on the project scope and activities and listen to and record input from community members and interested parties.
