Subject: Fwd: Wonderland Exhibit and Poetry Workshop

The Farmington Artists Circle is proud to host it's first Exhibit - Wonderland, at the Farmington Main Library on Monteith Drive from 11/15 - 12/18. A reception with refreshments will be held on Saturday 11/22 from 2:30 - 4:30 in the Community Room. The reception is free and the public is welcome!

There will also be a poetry workshop let by Poet Laureate of Old Saybrook on Saturday, December 6, 1- 3:30. Sandra Yannone will present approaches to writing poetry inspired by art. Participants will interact with the Wonderland exhibit to draw inspiration and draft their own wonder-filled poems. The workshop will conclude with participants sharing and reflecting on the experience of creating wonderlands with words. No poetry writing experience necessary. A reading of participants' poems will be held in January (date TBD).
