Five Points Arts PRESS NIGHT Print Festival Opening Celebration
Friday, July 17, 2026, 6:00 to 8:00 PM Five Points Arts is celebrating the opening of the 2026 Print Festival Weekend with a Cocktail Reception on Friday evening at the Five Points Arts Center, 855
University Drive in Torrington. Guests will enjoy live music by the Jazz Duo Gomez & Sadlon, from the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra, a live auction of nine hand-pulled prints done by renowned printmakers, and the
exclusive preview of the Print Festival’s international juried print exhibition. Over 400 pieces from artists representing 31 US states, Canada, and Japan were submitted; 82 prints were selected by Master Printmaker and Art Educator, Kathleen Schroeder.
One Best in Show will be selected to receive a solo exhibition in Five Points Gallery in 2027. Exhibit will be on display at the Arts Center through August 30, 2026.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Five Points Arts Print Festival, featuring BIG Ink, to take place on Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19.
