Monsters on the Edge is the second addendum to the ÆMPIRE exhibition series.

The opening is Saturday, September 19, 5-8 p.m.

PARKING: Across the street at Union Train Station (the parking at Artspace is for building residents only, you will be towed)

Monsters on the Edge is the second addendum to the ÆMPIRE exhibition series.  The exhibition explores the uncertain boundaries between empire and the unknown, drawing inspiration from medieval maps, illuminated manuscripts, and early attempts to describe unexplored places. Focusing on the edges of cartography and storytelling, the exhibition considers the monsters and mysterious beings that appeared where knowledge ended. These imagined figures reveal both the limits of understanding and the enduring human desire to give shape to the unknown.

Monday, October 26 (12-6 pm)
