TORRINGTON, CONN. —Five Points Annex Gallery in Torrington will host a free and open-to-the-public retrospective of the award-winning, Connecticut-based illustrator and painter, Ben F. Stahl, from Saturday, June 7, through Saturday, June 14. Perhaps best known
for his prolific illustration career, which included the Anne of Green Gables
book covers along with numerous jackets and drawings for best-selling novels and children’s books. The Society of Illustrator artist’s nudes, abstracts, and landscapes, which have been exhibited across the east coast, will also be featured in the show.
The opening reception is on Saturday, June 7, from 5-9 PM
Normal hours of operation will be from 12-5 PM, Sunday through Saturday.
The Annex is located at 15 Water Street, Torrington, Connecticut.
About the Gallery: The Annex is a community pop-up gallery providing artists, artisans, and community organizations an affordable professional space in which to exhibit. Located adjacent to Five Points Gallery at 15
Water Street, the Annex is managed by Five Points staff and available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. The Annex has hosted over 1,000 artists since its opening in 2017.
