New Exhibition Opens Today! Young Talent 2026 Opening Reception Saturday, February 14 4–6 PM  The Washington Art Association is pleased to announce the return of the Young Talent Exhibition, on view from February 14 to March 14, 2026, at our Washington Depot gallery. Please join us for the opening reception on Saturday, February 14, from 4 to 6 pm. This year’s Young Talent Exhibition features ten artists under the age of 30, selected from a competitive pool of applicants. Their work spans painting, sculpture, textiles, installation, and mixed media, exploring themes such as material experimentation, memory, identity, landscape, and psychological experience.   The participating artists are Avery Fazio (Burlington, CT), Ethan Friedberg (Brooklyn, NY), Sarena Johnson (New Preston, CT), Traci Johnson (Brooklyn, NY), Xinchen Li (Albany, CA), Lindsay Liang (New York, NY), Yuming Griffin Liu (South Bend, IN), Zana Naveed (Brooklyn, NY), Cole Palatini (New York, NY), and Hana Yoshikawa (Brooklyn, NY). Your Registration is Needed to Make These Outings Happen Guided Tour of the William Louis-Dreyfus Foundation Art Collection   Wednesday, February 25th 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM $25.00 per person   WAA is hosting a field trip to The William Louis-Dreyfus Foundation in Mount Kisco, NY. Please note that transportation is not included, and attendees are to arrange for their travel to and from the museum.  Guided tours provide an introduction to the collection as well as give more in-depth information on the works and artists represented. Visits last between an hour to an hour and a half including time for independent viewing. Limited parking is available at the WLD Foundation. Reserve Your Spot Get on the Bus to New York City! Sunday, March 29th 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM  $70.00 per person   WAA is hosting a field trip to The Big Apple for a day of museum and gallery hopping. WAA will provide a charter bus for transport to The Metropolitan Museum of Art 5th Avenue, and attendees may spend the day as they please. The bus will leave from WAA at 9:00 AM (4 Bryan Hall Plaza, Washington Depot, 06794), and will depart from New York City at 5:00 PM (1000 5th Ave, New York, NY 10028).
