Ten years, ninety-two artists, three galleries — and just two Saturdays left. Come see Summer Love this Saturday, July 18, 11–4PM. This Saturday is the day to see the show if you haven't made it over yet. The gallery will be open on July 25, but that's breakdown day — as the afternoon goes on, works will start coming off the walls, and if you wait until the very end, you might arrive to find your favorite piece already wrapped and gone. And there's still so much to see. Phil Knoll's Excellence Preserved: more than one hundred drawn portraits, arranged in rings of color around a single face. Richard Klein's 7:25: blown-out lightbulbs hung from ornate brass clock hands. Sarah Walker's The Vent: an hourglass the eye reads as architecture, as a tunnel, as a throat. Rachel Hellerich's Scarlet Temple: a chamber that has been waiting a very long time for someone to enter. Craig Peyton's 27 Cloud Faces: shot from his own plane, above the weather. Cadence Giersbach's The Snail: a spiral rising from a lavender cone. Alyse Rosner's Abacus: rows of dots strung on red lines across raw pine, six inches of concentrated attention. Will Kurtz's The Lady in Gold: Klimt's muse re-emerging across his art pup. This is the last full weekend to see the whole decade hanging together, the way we meant it to be seen. Several works have found new homes over the course of the show — a quiet thrill for us every time — and there's still time to fall for something yourself.
