The Millworks in Willington has an art gallery called the Dye and Bleach House Community Gallery. The Dye & Bleach House Community Gallery represents a platform for local and regional visual artists to display their original works for public viewing at no cost to the artist. This unique collaborative model allows for artist participation in show design, installation, and supervision.
The Community Gallery derived its name from its historical roots. The physical space that houses the Gallery was once the ground floor of the Dye & Bleach House for the Gardiner Hall Jr Company from 1916 to 1954. It is part of the Eastern Connecticut Center for History, Art, and Performance. Their website is at

In recent years they have concentrated on the performance aspect but we are having an Open House on May 16th and June 6th from 6 - 9 pm to feature the gallery. Artists are invited to come and see the space and find out more about this exhibition opportunity. I am attaching a postcard about the event.
