CS 573: Question regarding project: TEAK on nbtree

Dr. Menzies,

I have a doubt regarding my project -->Using TEAK on nb-tree. This is the only part I am having trouble figuring out. To create an nb-tree, you suggested me to use ptiles to recursively chop data into different children. what should the chops be?

As I understand it, similar data should be grouped to be in a leaf node and the chop decides that. Is there a way I could calculate chops?

If anyone have any ideas, please feel free to throw in.
